Site of Hostess Baking from 1929 to 2012. Until 2001, the factory produced Hostess bakery products including Ding Dongs and Twinkies. At that time the plant was deemed inefficient and 233 employees were laid off. Hostess continued to operate a Thrift Shop at the location until 2012, when it entered bankruptcy .
