Cone Peak

Cone Peak rises above the South Santiam highway and the Hackleman Creek valley. A trail leads from the highway to the dry, open meadows on the south side of the peak. There is no trail to the summit. In the small cliffs near the top there is an interesting shallow cave with two openings. In the spring the meadows have a good wildflower display.
