Originally opened in 1985 as Horton Plaza, this shopping center began the revitalization of Downtown San Diego. Developed by The Hahn Company, the center was designed by Jon Jerde.

In 2018, the mall was sold to Stockdale Capital Partners. In May 2019, City Council approved the transformation of the mall into a technology office development, called Campus at Horton. Demolition and renovations began in 2020 and it is set to open in late 2023

  • A really beautiful mall, you can shop indoors and still enjoy open air with nice shops and restaurants. A very nice venture out and adjacent to the gaslamp with all of the nice restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Great place !!
  • This mall is a tourist death trap. Come here if you want to see fat, slow walking people from the Midwest.
  • Greg enjoys sanitary-flavored Konsumer Kool-Aid.
