Historic house and farm complex listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district. The main farmhouse dates originally to about 1772 and shows later additions. In addition to the numerous agricultural outbuildings on the property, there are also a cemetery and an old schoolhouse. The Confederate Army made an encampment on the property of Maiden Spring during the Civil War.
