Historic Methodist church and cemetery dating to 1895. It is notable as having been the church to which several members of The Carter Family country music group belonged. A.P. and Sara Carter, two of the group's founding members, are buried in the church's cemetery. The church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its association with the Carters.
