Small group of homes to support the agrarian economy of the surrounding fields. It hosts the offices of the Parco Naturale della Maremma. There is a small bicycle rental (open only in the summer tourism months) where one could rent a used rickety bicycle for 10 Euros a day and use it to reach Marina di Alberese (8 km away). Because there are restrictions on the number of vehicles allowed in Marina di Alberese, tourists may find that the option of parking in Alberese, and using a bicycle to reach Marina is the only means possible.
