Located at Marina South pier , Marina Coastal Drive.
As is usual there is information on Maritime History and development of Singapore as one of the major ports . Quite educative .
The walk way of the gallaries is planned imaginatively and cover over 10 zones covering various aspects of Maritime Industries. In fact at one place one walks through a real 20 foot container . All the information about types of cargo which are transported by containers is given with accompanying photos.
There are more than 40 beautiful scale models of various ships.
A state of the art ship bridge simulator gives one feel of sailing various types of ships in different types of weather. Very exciting and interesting . If there is no crowd and not many visitore one can spend any amount of time sailing
Lots and lots of interactive computer based games where one can create various in seascapes and pictures in a game Maritime Graphics and send whatever has been created to friends by e-mail.
In yet another one kids can try out various costumes related to the shipping industry and share the photo with friends via e-mail
If all the audio visual interactive games are to be tried out one must be willing to spend upwords of 3/4 hours
