  • This was a prime example of how a greedy developer raked us over the coals. "Upscale" shopping includes Christmas Tree Shoppe, American Eagle, Hallmark, Hot Topic, GameStop, and TCBY. Either NEPA is a poor area, or this developer has no idea just what an "upscale lifestyle center" is supposed to feature---Apple store, Sharper Image, Cheesecake Factory, Armani Exchange, etc. Everyone whom I converse with has been very underwhelmed by the uselessness of this center, which has only served to drive businesses out of Scranton's downtown shopping mall since it opened.
