The theater is located in the south-west of the historical center of Mondavio (PU).
The activity of the Apollo Theater was alive especially during the nineteenth century. In 1789 the Company consists of the Condo between the City and its citizens.
The existence of the building, however, is older and, judging by the style, dates from the period between 1500 and 1600, refers to the pre-existing church of St. Philip Blacks. The condo is officially disbanded in 1956, when the theater is now dilapidated. In 1983, the City Council approves a works project of consolidation that allow you to save the building, but inside, the theater is still unusable.
