From 1951-1992, VII Corps of the US Army was stationed here at Kelley Barracks, part of the US Cold War force in Europe. A World War II Sherman Tank and an Iraqi T-72 flank the Flagpole in memory of the service of VII Corps and the other units that have served here since the end of World War II. There is also a plaque memorializing the Soldier from whom the installation is named and the VII Corps seal- painted on concrete.
Access is limited as the location is on a US military base. Check with the Public Affairs Office on Kelley Barracks before attempting to see this site unless you already have access to the installation.
