  • Two types of Tudor House exist. Full Frame and the more common Half Frame. A Tudor house, was made with a stone foundation and an Oak timber frame. The Frame is then in-filled with panels of Wattle and Daub, Which then makes up the walls of the building. Most Pictures of Tudor Houses show a Typical Black and White Exterior, however when originally built they would have been Natural Oak and a Reddish Pink as OX Blood was added to the Daub to make it set hard and weatherproof.
