The settlement of Aigai is one of the twelve cities founded through Aiolian tribes coming from Greece (Especially from Thesselia, Boiotia, Lokris regions with the pioneering of Peloponnesian Oikists)in ancient times which had been stated by Herodoto in 5 century B.C.
