cabins, dining hall, NRHP - National Register of Historic Places, New Deal Depression Relief Project [1933-1945]
Historic complex of cabins, bunk houses and a dining hall dating to the mid to late 1930s. They are collectively listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The complex was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), a New Deal program that operated between 1933 and 1942. The program provided work for unmarried, unemployed men who were struggling to find work during the Great Depression.
