Designed by well know architect Charles E Dubois, AIA, and built by Roy Fey, a well known Palm Springs developer, Canyon Estates opened to the public in 1970. The homes are situated on 79 acres in the Southern part Palm Springs. There are two hundred and fifty-four homes in total which comprise of the community. Of these two hundred and fifty four homes, thirty-six are Executive homes, with private back yards and pools, located on Toledo and Sierra Avenues.
