The creation of the Botanical Garden of Archilei House was started in 1989 a large part of the green area of 1.3 hectares adjacent to the building. The various species of plants are grouped according to the natural environment : the mixed forest of deciduous trees , the shrubbery , the hedge , the pond , the uncultivated grassy and rocky environment.
The species are indicated with a label that shows the Italian name, the scientific name, English name , family, worldwide distribution , habitat and season for leaves, flowers and fruits.

In order to facilitate the visit was also made ​​a nature trail that runs through both the area 's botanical garden , is that of contiguous sectors : the organic vegetable garden and orchard.
The nature trail is divided into 20 stages , each of which is described by a sign which shows elements worthy of attention.
