Weedersburg is a thin strip of land, which use to be a railroad, and was a hang out spot for many students of CICS Northtown Academy in the area. Even people outside the area would come to this small strip of land and relax and hang out with their friends while enjoying a beer. In March, 2014, construction for a bike path began as part of the City of Chicago's massive Bike Pathway Expansion project.
Weedersburg will remain a memory in our hearts, even when the yuppies and hipsters ride down the path in their fixies.
