Located in Springfield Township, Michigan, and the oldest park in the Oakland County Parks system. In 1950, after 70 years in Milford, the Oakland County Fair moved to Springfield Township where a new fairgrounds was being developed. The fair would aid in the growth and development of Springfield Township, and, eventually, the 332-acre fairgrounds became part of the Oakland County Parks system as Springfield Oaks County Park, which is the still the site of the fair today.
