Built as The Hilton Hotel in 1928, one of Conrad Hiltons's first hotels. After it was repossessed during the Great Depression, it was renamed The Cactus Hotel in 1934. The tallest building in San Angelo.
Today the function rooms are still in use, while the hotel rooms have been converted to apartments and offices.
