The Order's, later Lutheran Church was built in the XIV century on a hill of boulders and bricks. Powerful walls with buttresses, a tower in the west, an entrance to the tower from the south, a sacristy from the east. Kirch had a plank ceiling and a very simple furnishings inside. Large arched windows appeared later. Altar in 1672, pulpit in 1690 by Christian Klodssey, confessional in 1729.

After the end of World War II, the church was intact. In the post-war years, the building was used as a warehouse, abandoned since the mid-1970s, the roof collapsed in the late 1970s. In the spring of 2013, the skeleton of the tower and two fragments of the eastern wall remained from the church.

By the decree of the Government of the Kaliningrad region, the ruins of the church received the status of a cultural heritage site of regional significance. On October 28, 2010, deputies of the Kaliningrad Duma made a decision to transfer the ownership of the Kirche of the Kaliningrad Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. As of August 2020, no conservation and restoration work is being carried out at the facility. Cleaning is done exclusively by volunteers.
