This is the smaller gap in the mountains that is right next to the Parowan Gap which is well known for the abundance of pertroglyphs on the rocks there. The photo included here shows the water collection (rain collector) in the center of the wash. Reason for it being there is unknown. It can be seen in the Ariel photo.
