This is a beautiful park , developed in British period and originally named as "Hevitt park" . After the freedom of India, it was named as "Paliwal Park" after a great freedom fighter from Agra city Late Sri Krishn Dutt Paliwal, who played a major role in freedom fighting momentum. Originally this park had four fields. One of its field is occupies by the Agra University (now Ambedkar University). It has four gates and one natural water body within it. It has one Library too, which is partly converted to Taj City Museum.
