The underground Etruscan is located near the village of Colle , a fraction of Bettona ( PG) .
The underground Etruscan discovered near the village of Bettona, along the Etruscan town, the road that connects Torgiano Bettona , is given between the third century . B.C. and the second century. BC, was discovered in the early '900 and was already compromised and tampered with.
The burial chamber is formed by large blocks of local stone , a short hallway leads to the open door , originally made up of two slabs of travertine fitted with hinges, and at the entrance there are two steps.
The Hypogeum consists of a single environment where the cover consists of a barrel vault , built with blocks of stone arranged in regular rows in the depth of the grave, to form a perfect semicircle.
The tomb is equipped with gutters for water runoff , which were then collected in an underground room in the entrance.
along the side walls and the rear wall of the docks to run four steps that guarded many urns dating from the fourth century BC and related equipment for the dead.
All material found inside ( gold, silver , etc ...) is preserved in the Etruscan Museum of Perugia and the Archaeological Museum of the city of Bettona .
