Purpose of Facility: Mooring fireboat "Moku Ahi" on lower side. Current Operator: City and County of Honolulu Fire Department and State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Harbors Division. Tel: (808) 587-1880. Remarks: At time of survey (1998), plans called for reconstruction of pier with concrete pile, concrete-decked extension. Concrete building at rear of upper portion of wharf is used for storage of supplies, with building at rear of lower portion of wharf providing accommodations and headquarters for fireboat crew. Concrete-retaining walls with solid fill at concrete pile, asphalt-surfaced timber-decked extensions; fronted by timber-fender system. Depth Alongside/length (feet): 12'/440'; 12'/55'; 18'/40'.
