The Taco Bell Tree is a large live oak tree located at the intersection of William Cannon Drive and U.S. Highway 290 in southwest Austin, Texas. Named as such due to its position near a former Taco Bell restaurant, the tree gained public attention after the tree had been scheduled to be move to an undisclosed location as a result of ongoing construction on the nearby highway. The Austin Heritage Foundation secured $20,000 in early 2014 to relocate the tree.
