this was the original study building in the college where all the orientation and specialization courses are held.
with the beginning of semester 251 back in 2005, the Oriya Building (ELC) was opened and all the courses which the students took in there orientation year like; math, English, physics, chemistry are now held there.
nowadays, the building is shared by the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Department (MME), the Chemical Engineering Department (CHE), and the Department of General Studies (GES).
