27 February 1956, a B-47 experienced structural failure shortly after takeoff from Whiteman AFB, MO and crashed into a house. Although the house and farm was completely destroyed by fire, a teenage boy and his mother (the only occupants in the house at the time) miraculously survived. The boy's name is Dan Curtis of Warrensburg. His brother and father were not at home at the time. All 4 crewmembers of the B-47 were killed. The actual impact point is on the Historical/Disappeared Layer.
