A Sub-way was constructed here, meant for the safe passage of the pedestrians crossing the road to the Goa Medical College Hospital or the Goa Dental College Hospital, Bambolim. The said Sub-way consisted of numerous shops. Public were hesitant to utilize the Sub-way which was finally abandoned. The sub-way is currently demolished and an under pass for light vehicles is being constructed here.
