Transmitter Zobor
In the 80s of the 20th century was built on Zobor lattice mast from which the distribution of television signals. An important dimension is also used as an important node RR tracks and construction of communication towers and early '90s was logical. Reinforced concrete tower was completed in 1993 and is one of the newest facility of its kind in the country.
The tower is 64 m, of which the antenna itself measured 11.5 mA weighs 2.5 tonnes.
When the boom FM broadcast signal was propagated from the original mast , after construction of the tower , which serves as a service building , it began broadcasting from antennas on its top.
The convenient location of the transmitter by the extensive Danubian plain, high radiated power and altitude cause the Far reception especially in the southern and south-westerly direction. A priority area of coverage is just plain region of Nitra and Trnava , up to the border with Hungary. Overhangs make it possible to receive signals on Pohronie region , Upper Nitra in Tekov or parts are considered . The receivable is also in Hungary.
