In Collodi Carlo Lorenzini (November 24, 1826 – October 26, 1890), spent a large part of his childhood.

Carlo Lorenzini, better known by the pen name C. Collodi, was a writer known for the world-renowned fairy tale The Adventures of Pinocchio.
