Former Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) plant (Former Incredible Universe)
This building started out as Incredible Universe, Tandy's Super-sized Radio Shack, and it didn't last long. One day everyone went to work, and when they got there, there just wasn't any work there anymore.

  • Before the Navy took over the space, this was an Incredible Universe store, one of the biggest big-box concepts ever tried. After Tandy pulled the plug, this building sat empty for years; it was so big that the owners couldn't find a tenant.
  • I remember there being a big purple dome on top of this building, never got to go in it though. I moved to Wdgb in 99...it was closed soon after.
  • The southern portion of the store is now a Floor & Decor (floors), while the northern portion is becoming a Gander Mountain (sporting equipment), presumably opening late this year or sometime in 2015.
