  • I recall driving around this curve during a road trip in 2002, and I found it strange that such a curve would exist on and interstate highway. I guess they're talking about reconfiguring this intersection to eliminate the curve or at least make it more gradual.
  • When it suggests a speed of 35, listen to it.
  • When I saw it frequently in the 80's there were "arrow" signs, but the curve was SO sharp that the arrow point-tip was on one sign and the arrow shaft was on another ---from a distance, they visually aligned into one large arrow. In the 90's or 00's, these were replaced with the current ">" chevrons ---some of which are lit. It is ONE SHARP CURVE for an urban freeway.
