The oldest, still operating business in Clemmons. The mill was built in 1920 by L.C. Hobson of Yadkin County for farmers that needed a place to grind their corn and mix their feeds. J.E. Brewer purchased the mill later that year and his family operated the mill until 1988. The original facility covered 4200 square feet with various additions made over the years. In 1944, the mixing room was added to the north end and the basement beneath was dug by German prisoners of war. The mill retains its charm of days gone by with the structure looking much as it did when originally built.
