Nallur Late. Srilasri Arumuga Navalar (1822-1879) is the founder of Kopay Navalar Boys School (1872).
Late.Murugasar Swaminathan J.P. was the founder of Kopay Saraswathy Girls' School(1910).
Both Schools were amalgamated in 1915 and named as Kopay Navalar Hindu Tamil Mixed School.Kopay, Jaffna, Srilanka.
