The highest peak in Andhra Pradesh (1680 m / 5512 ft). Survey of India maps show the name of the peak as Sitamma Konda. This is possibly also named as Arma Konda and is the highest peak in the Eastern Ghats.

The peak is also the highest point of the Godavari River Basin.

  • I believe the highest peak in Andhra Pradesh and highest peak in eastern ghats is "Jindhagada peak" in araku range.
  • There is no official map showing the name "Jindhagada". Some people had earlier marked this same place as Jindhagada peak. In fact, there is still a very small circular outline in the northern portion of this outline that is marker saying "This place is Jindhagada hill 'discovered' by a team led by Venkee".
  • Why there is no links to understand and know these places from andhra pradesh is there any cultivation or community's ??? Curios...
