A row of five 3-story Italianate residential buildings completed in 1869. All but No. 33 have have their stoops replaced with basement entrances. They are clad in brownstone and have a uniform roof cornice. Except for No. 41, all have full-length parlor floor windows.
From 1914-21, future New York mayor Fiorello La Guardia lived at No. 39; he was elected to the U.S. House in 1916.
