Northwest sentry gate of Malacañang Palace complex guarded by the Presidential Security Group. Though the largest gate of the Palace complex and the one closest to the Palace itself, it has been permanently sealed and barricaded since the 1970s due to Mendiola Street being a popular site for anti-government demonstrations as the President's virtual "front door".
