  • Alexandria is a beautiful landscape ranging from massive rolling hills to thick forestry. The entire region is part of the Ohio River valley, as well as being in close proximity to the Licking River which also gives a beautiful rolling hill landscape. Most of Alexandria is residential and shops, while there are also a few schools and churches scattered. When you're in town, it's got a very cute, small-town atmosphere while being just 20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. The Alexandria Community Park is nearby and features a tranquil lake and a walking path all around it. Various hiking paths through the hilly forest also branch off from the main path. Alexandria is a beautiful area year round. In the summer, all directions are filled with large trees in full bloom, and in the fall those trees become orange and red. In the winter, if you're lucky, the tree branches all freeze and they shimmer in the sunlight. Once it all melts in the spring, everything is coming alive, and you never know what interesting creatures you may find starting their lives in the forest.
