Old Bio department, now pretty much empty since the ISF opened.

From Geneseo's site (12/02/07):
The Guy A. Bailey Science building houses the biology department, one of the largest departments on campus. Bailey contains modern biological laboratories as well as a vivarium for maintaining live animals, a greenhouse, a herbarium, a planetarium, controlled environment chambers, electron microscopes and facilities for work in genetics and physiology. Equipment in the department is used for both teaching and research, and as an advanced student you will have the opportunity to learn the techniques of chromatography (high pressure liquid; gas), centrifugation, radioisotope labeling and measurement, cell and tissue culture, biochemical analysis and purification, gene cloning and recombinant DNA technology, and other laboratory activities appropriate to modern biology. It also houses the biology faculty offices, small classrooms and a 200-seat lecture hall, equipped with rear screen projection and closed-circuit television.
