Al Kanayis Temple

small temple of Sethos I (19th Dynasty 1294-1279 b. C.), pictures of the pharao victoriuos over Kushites and asian peoples. A 40m deep well belonged to the tempel too. The temple was situated on a important route to the Red Sea that was used till recent times what is to be seen in the remains of an old carvanserai near by and still is the furthest south link between Nile and Red Sea today.
