The "Old Fire Hall" was Brampton's first municipal building, serving as Brampton's market hall, Council Chambers and fire hall. It was constructed in 1854, with the tower (to dry the fire hoses and house a bell) added in 1862. It is currently the Regimental Headquarters for the Lorne Scots - cf: the Armoury next door.
