2010 - Gordon Drive Enterprises AKA Dr. Robert S Heidt Jr. & Julia Scripps Heidt of Cincinnati - $2.5 million in 2010 from Brett Pabst

Julia and Robert Heidt already owned the property next door to 3887 Gordon Drive, they had purchased 3875 (goo.gl/maps/3KnD0 ) for $4.3 million in 2008 so when Brett Pabst decided to sell 3887 ("the Boathouse Property") in 2010, the Heidts purchased it for $2.5 million. Back in the day, Brett's mother and father, the late David Pabst Sr lived next door at 3861+3875 Gordon and when Dr. Tharinger's family decided to sell 3887, David Pabst Sr. purchased it. David paid just $150,000 back in 1974 and at that time it also included the property across the road at 3888 (Woodbine Group, the trust for Brett Pabst and her brother, David Pabst Jr sold 3888 for over $5 million in 2012 to William and Sharon Stein, he of the Blackstone Group and she an attorney).

Julia Scripps Heidt is the daughter of the late Charles E. Scripps, long time chairman of E.W. Scripps, the $13 billion dollar media conglomerate headquartered in Cincinnati, its holdings include our local newspaper, the Naples News. Julia S. Heidt (with family members) is considered to be a beneficial shareholder (>10%) of Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc. (NYSE:SNI) and The E. W. Scripps Company (NYSE:SSP), which until late 2012 was controlled through the now terminated "Edward W. Scripps Trust". Subsequent to the trust's termination the Scripps family agreement provided for continued family stewardship of the company including a distribution of voting and non-voting shares to certain family members. Dr. Robert S Heidt Jr

Dr. Heidt is one of America'S top orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians. He is a past president of the NFL Physicians' Society and Chief of Staff at The Christ Hospital. He is also the Cincinnati Bengals' team physician, trustee at Xavier University etc. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine ('76), a past member of the US Swim Team and U.S. Olympic Sports Physician Society.

His father founded Wellington Orthopedic & Sports Medicine, which is one of the largest comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine groups in the U.S. where Dr. Heidt Jr is a partner and serves as its CEO. The Heidts are active in numerous charities donating time and money including Bethany House Services and Scripps supported charities including the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego. The Naples connection comes naturally to the Julia and Robert Heidt family. Julia Heidt's parents were long time Naples residents owning homes in Port Royal. Her parents Naples' home was at 899 Nelsons Walk goo.gl/maps/1elod , which they sold for more than $9 million in 2005.

The names given to family trusts and family offices often have meaning. For the Pabst family the Woodbine Group is named after the Frederick Pabst estate on Oconomoc Lake in Wisconsin - for Julia Scripps Heidt and other Scripps family members it is Miramar Services- named after her great grandfather's southern California ranch outside of San Diego.
