This is the Kadamba Transport Corporation bus stand. It is one among the best bus stands in India today in terms of design as well as maintenance. There are enough platforms for the buses with the names of the destinations clearly marked making it easy for travellers, especially the tourists, to wait at the correct spot for the buses. The pay toilets are a welcome feature and are clean and well-maintained. The whole bus stand is spotlessly clean, even after two years of inauguration, and is swept and cleaned twice a day. The shops, which are a part of the bus-stand, perhaps help in generating revenues for the upkeep of the bus-stand. There is a restaurant for the commuters and adequate parking space for taxis and private vehicles.
