One of the earliest towns in the world. This site was occupied from around 2900 B.C. until 2600 B.C. Most of the site was bulldozed, but the remains were investigated by a team from the American University of Beirut. The results of this work were recently published in BAAL (#9)

  • this site is in the village of Kfarabida (North Lebanon) the has borders with the sea from the west, batroun from the north Thoum from the south and Rashana and Mrah Chedid and Edde from the east. Kfaraabida has a fisherman's port a group of sea resorts and well known reputable seafood restaurants. it has an anceint Marounite church name saint Sarkis and Bakhis Church that was built by Mr. Roumanos Abi Salloum and his sons.
  • This site is in the village of FADOUS ( north lebanon) where we can find : fisherman's port, basketball club and "tell fadous"(earliest town in the world 2900 b.c published in "Baal #9" book by the tourism libanese.
