Armenian town whose residents are all descendants of Armenian immigrants from Musa Dagh Mountain in southern Hatay Province in Turkey. They fled their towns when Hatay was annexed by Turkey in 1939 and settled in this town, whose neighborhoods are named after the villages they came from.
