This is the best school not just in Asansol but probably in the entire India. And it is not me but the past record and the shining alumni which speaks about it year after year. I am from batch 98. And I can guarantee AGCS shines with all its brilliance!!! There are so many of us who are working in so many glorious professions not just in India, but even in the US, UK, Canada, Italy, Germany, UAE etc. And all the credit goes to our alma mater which has forever instilled in us the value of "LABORE ET HONORE", even though it is yet to complete 50 years of establishment in 2013!! Can anyone beat it!!

  • A.G CHURCH IS A VERY GOOD SCHOOL.BUT THE TEACHERS ARE NOT AT ALL GOOD. THEY ARE VERY PARTIAL TOWARDS THE GOOD STUDENTS.I MYSELF BEING A PART OF THE INSTITUTION HAVE FELT THIS. WHEN I WERE A BAD STUDENT THEN THE TEACHERS WERE VERY RUDE TO ME BUT WHEN I BECAME GOOD IN STUDIES THEY STARTED LIKING ME..... THIS IS A VERY BAD BEHAVIOUR ON THE PART OF THE TEACHERS, THEY MUST BEHAVE EQUALLY WITH ALL THE STUDENTS,BECAUSE ITS THERE BEHAVIOUR WHICH MATTER FOR THE STUDENTS

  • I was an AGite, I am an AGite and I will always remain an AGite. The 13 years of my life has been spent in a very outstanding school. A.G. Asansol is my alma mater and the teachers there have left a great impact on me.They are not simply teachers but angels come to earth. You can never differentiate between your mother and your teacher if you ever get the lucky chance to come under their love and care. I gave my ICSE in the year 2015, but still I feel that I am still studying in that school. I thank God for these lovely Teachers and this lovely school... THREE CHEERS FOR A.G. ASANSOL AND THE TEACHERS THERE!!!
  • This is the school you used to know I hate to break it to you But it has totally changed now & it's obviously not the best school in India (not even near it) as you move out of your school you will realize it ...... The stuff we think are not taught anywhere is actually taught everywhere it's just that they make it seem so
  • The location of the school is not fit for pupils' safety. Admin should ask the traffic authority to install a signal post.
  • I am happy that I am a part of this Agite Alum! Not because it moulded me during those initial 13 years of my life but because I learnt a lot many lessons there. Be it the subject or friendship or how you are being treated for being a mediocre student. What happens when you raise your voice against teachers. Though the teachers there were great but it still saddens my heart when I go back to the memory lane. How the teachers use to praise the toppers (say the top 10 percentile in the class) and ignore the rest. How scared was a student of even asking a doubt just because of the fear of being embarrassed in front of the whole class. How never once a teacher (Except A FEW) encourages a child to speak up. The things which you learn in school its really sad for children to learn when they have to face the big bad world. The teachers were awsome in whatever they taught us but the strategy n pedagogy weren't that good. #justsaying #mypersonalopinion
