  • I studied in this school and did my tech ( Junior Engg. Diploma ) in the year 1968. Yes it is one of the best schools in the region where the overall development and leadership qualities are inculcated. Today I hold the post of Deputy Director in the MOP organisation National Power Training Institute located at present at Nagpur and I owe it all the untiring efforts of the Christian Brothers wh moulkded me.
  • I studied as boarder in St. Vincent`s during the period 1971-1980. Grew up from a small boy to a teenage with Christian Brothers. Sense of descipline and maturity were inculcated. Most importantly, I learnt my english language in the conducive surrounding of this school. There had been almost 18 football playing fields where seasonal games were played. A large auditorium having provisions for almost all indoor games and small movie screening were housed for the recreational purpose. Then, there was Late Mr.Coleridge. Our most beloved bullshiter. Mr.Mathew & Mr.Bhattu were our everyday companion. I owe my success in life to whatever I inherited during my stay (for 10 yrs. as boarder)in the school. Let the Light of Love keep going strong. Sanjay Kumar Gupta Calcutta.
  • Completed my primary education from here in 1999, had a desire to continue my education here but could not as there were no more classes. Had the best days of my childhood spent in this campus. was always proud to be associated with St. Vincents, the teachers were really cooperative and the school environment was ideal for education.
  • I have studied in this school. i love my school very much. It is my best place because all my childhood dreams and wishes are attached with this place.

  • Now I in class X, these past ten years I have wittnessed a immense cordiall relationship between the respected teachers and students, which is not at all different from the friend's relationship. It has been a heaven which I visited in yesteryears. Teachers like Mrs. Manju Chatterjee, Mrs. Sanchita Basu, Mr. Virgil D Souza, Mr. Dornwill Codell, Mr. A Andrew, Mr.Pope, Mrs. Dola Lahiri are the pathfinders of our student life. They have been like angels beside us in the long journey of our education.

  • Correction: 1958-1970
  • Since my graduation in December 1960,I have often dreamed and wondered what ever became of St. Vincent's. To my deep regret, I had lost touch with the very epicenter of my education in India. My memories of the school and its teachers (notably the Aussie Christian Brothers, Bro. Harrison and Whiting) and my many school chums are vivid, even today. I carry the imprint of my education and my school in the depths of my being. I am so pleased, indeed thrilled beyond measure, to see St. Vincent's standing proud and tall these many years since I last passed through its hallowed portals. My travels have taken me far afield and perhaps with my other preoccupations I have had little time to think of my old school. But, honestly, each time I stand on the threshold of something new or bold and exciting I give thanks to God for giving me a wonderful education and still more wonderful role models. To St. Vincent's and its teachers (Bros. Hayes and Harrison, Beneedict and Gomes, Mr. Bremner and Mr. Lloyd to name a few) I must express my deep gratitude and offer thanks so many years later. To the new Principal, Mr. Matthews, I offer my heartfelt congratulations and support. I will be in touch with the Alumni Association immediately.
  • I studied in this great institution from 1987-1994.
  • If there was heaven on earth it was St.Vincents School. The Christian Brothers were out of this world. Those who have not studied under the Christian Brothers have missed a lifetime. No one can teach better than then except Christ.I would love to get some information on Br.C.J.Harrison and Br.R.A.parton.
  • I passed my ICSE in 1980 and have very fresh memories of our St. Vincent's. It has put a very credible impact on my life. I am based in London and would like my batch mates to contact me on raj@pairsshop.co.uk.

I must not forget the other staff who guided and groomed me to be what I am today. Some of the wonderful people are the Matrons Mrs. Grace Manion, Mrs.Lincoln, the junior hostel superintendant Mr. Claridge, In-charge of the hospital Mr. & Mrs. Facey, In-charge of the food dept. All those who remember me can please write in to < rawzdcruz@falconoffshore.net > I must say if there was any place considered heaven on earth it was ST. Vincent's. The teaching by the Christian brothers and the lay teachers and all who supported them were the best and second to none. I'm sure all those who studied in SVTS will be nodding in agreement as they read this. I pray that all those who taught me and all those I was associated with during my scool days be abundantly blessed by the 'ALMIGHTY". Thank You CB's, Teachers and all.

  • I left school in 1961 unexpectedly in the 8th standard to join my brother in England.Although to my regret that I was unable to finish my education I have had a very successful career. This ofcourse was due to the good schooling I received at STVS. The teachers that I have most to thank are BR Ciril Harrision and BR Peter Gomes, both I understand are enjoying there retirement. Friends I remember are Billy Levers, Peter Laing, Butch Conners, and Geof Smith.
