North Oil Company (N.O.C.) is a state company under the Ministry of Oil of Iraq, the scope of work is the production of oil and natural gas. Geographical area of ​​operation of the company includes the following governorates: Kirkuk, Nineveh, Erbil, Baghdad, Diyala and Hilla and Kut part of the company It perform the tasks of producing crude oil and natural gas from oil and gas deposits located in half northern Iraq

The installations were built by Oil Equipment Plant Ploiesti and Vulcan Bucharest and assembled by Romanian oilmens from Bacau and Prahova, sent by the Ministry of Heavy Industry around the 60's to 80's.

The company contains more than fifty installations include pumping stations, process units, fields oil tanks, wastewater decontamination, gas compressor stations, water treatment plants to generate electricity, and a large number of wells of oil, which are connected with a network of flow lines and pipelines dispersed in the operating company.

N.O.C. supplies crude oil to various refinery Iraqi and associated gas units north of the company's gas stations electric generation and for export, through a network of piping system to the north and west of the country of export, from terminals.
