This village is an abode of God Bada Chhamahu (God Sheshnag). A beautiful temple, the residence of God Bada Chhamahu is situated in the centre of village. The Madheul of Devta Dhamani (Thanedar) is also situated in the village. This village is well known for green vegetables, maize, chilli etc. The God fearing people of Kotla village are very simple and industrious. They also celebrate some religious festivals such as Naya Sambat and Diyali. These two festivals are very much famous in District Kullu. People come from every nook & corner of the district to see Naya Sambat and Diyali festivals.
This village is well connected with jeepable road. One can reach to this village from Bali Chowki. There is a pony road from Dhaman to Kotla village. People often use this pony road as it cut short the distance and save their time.
