TX2, is an onshore terminal being built around a 6.5 km long, 300 meter wide approach channel with a depth of between 10.5 and 18 meters. TX2 will boast a wharf line of over 13 km, where steel products, coal, pig iron, slag and granite will be handled, in addition to liquid and solid bulk.
The terminal will also be home to the Shipbuilding Yard of OSX (EBX Group's offshore and shipbuilding equipment and services division) and a dedicated area for the oil and gas E&P support service industry. The channel will also handle equipment and materials for use in oil and gas exploration and production, and jackets and modules for offshore facilities.​
