The remains of the Cheyenne Mountain Lodge, a.k.a. the "Honeymoon Lodge", built in 1926 by Spencer Penrose.

It closed in 1961, and was demolished in 1976.

The Broadmoor Hotel is currently (late 2013) building a new 8000-square-foot lodge called "Cloud Camp" on the same site.

  • Suggestion for future editors: When the new lodge is completed, please change the name of the place to something like "Cloud Camp (lodge)", re-draw the polygon so it outlines the new building, check the building checkbox, and update the description. (But please don't delete the existing info about the old Cheyenne Mountain Lodge, and the historic photo link!)
